Efficiency is key for providers of solid insulation and lightweight construction solutions.Providing efficient energy savings products, Expol understood the importance of increasing efficiency throughout their business. With a growing volume of transactions with its larger customers Bunnings, ITM, and Mitre 10, Expol knew it was time to move from manual processing to Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). Expol looked to Flow to provide it with a ready to go integration engine that could scale with their EDI needs. Initially starting with invoices for Mitre 10 and ITM, Expol then scaled up and added purchase orders and invoices for Bunnings. Expol are now processing automatically from their ERP system Exonet, including price validation, allocation of orders to specific locations, and printing of work orders at the appropriate branch location. “When looking into EDI we wanted to remove the complexity that seemed to be involved. The Flow product did just that and we've been able to significantly automate our business while keeping things simple.” | | Company: Expol (www.expol.co.nz)
